Social media particularly Twitter has been abuzz with conversations surrounding senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas possibly joining the rival BJP ahead of Uttar Pradesh assembly polls.
The news of Vishwas planning to join the saffron party was first carried by Times of India, which reported that Vishwas was in “talks with BJP to join the party and a call will be taken in a day or two after a consensus is reached between him and the saffron party on where he would be fielded from in the ensuing Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.”
Vishwas has officially not commented on the news but posted a sarcastic tweet, which said that he was joining ‘ Congress-TMC-AIDMK-BJD-JMM-AGP Etc.”

His party colleague and Delhi deputy chief minister, Manish Sisodia, took to Twitter to claim that Prime Minister Narendra Modi too will join Congress after UP polls.
His tweet read, “I’ve received a report that the prime minister will join Congress after UP elections. He has already met Rahul Gandhi.”
