Comedian Kiku Sharda, who plays several acts on Sony TV’s Kapil Sharma Show, has taken a potshot at the rapist baba, Gurmeet Singh after his 20 year jail sentence in rape cases.
Breaking his silence on Singh’s jail sentence, Sharda implied that the rapist bab’s fall from the grace was his ‘Karma.’
In a cheeky tweet, the popular comedian-actor wrote, “Hey, I’m not talking too much on this topic but cannot resist to thank u all for the love, care n support??thanx for being der for me. #Karma.”

In January last year, Sharda was arrested for ‘hurting the religious sentiments of the followers’ of Singh. He was later sent to 14 days of judicial custody.
The development had caused a social media storm with users particularly on twitter registering strong protests against the Section 295 A describing it draconian.
The rapist baba was sentenced to 20 years in jail on Monday for raping two women, who worked at his dera in Haryana. He was very close to the BJP’s leaders with Prime Minister Narendra Modi paying tribute to his contribution to society.
Several BJP ministers from the Haryana government had donated over Rs 1 crore to him. Kailash Vijayvargiya, another top BJP functionary from Madhya Pradesh, had taken the party’s newly elected MLAs in Haryana to the rapist baba’s dera to thank him for his support in the assembly polls.
