Arvind Kejriwal vows to fight corruption in Margao election rally


Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, on Sunday addressed an unusually large rally in Goa’s business capital Margao.

Thousands of people wearing Aam Aadmi Party had turned up to listen to Kejriwal, who’s currently campaigning in Goa in favour of AAP candidates.

Addressing the rally, Kejriwal vowed to end corruption if his party came to power. Showering praises on his party’s chief ministerial candidate, the Delhi chief minister said that Elvis Gomes had spent his career in bureaucrat was of an upright officer, who had opportunity to indulge in corruption, but ‘he chose to remain honest.’

He said it was time for Goa to ‘shun’ politicians such as Laxmikant Parsekar, Manohar Parrikar and former Congress chief minister, Digambar Kamat, who is seeking re-election from Margao.
