The Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday launched a stinging attack against its former MLA Kapil Mishra reminding how it had always suspected him of being an ‘agent’ of the BJP. Launching the tirade AAP MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj said that he stood vindicated after his party colleague formally joined the saffron party.
Taking to Twitter, Bharadwaj wrote, “Moreover, My petition seeking disqualification had already affirmed that through his conduct he had long back joined BJP, that’s how he lost his MLA seat. Right from the day he sabotaged MCD elections using DJB disruptions, we knew he was acting as BJP agent. It’s proved now.”

Bharadwaj’s tweet came soon after Mishra, who was recently disqualified from the assembly by the Delhi Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, formally accepted the membership of the BJP. Those present at the function to welcome Mishra into his new party were BJP’s Delhi unit chief Manoj Tiwari and former union minister Vijay Goel among others.
Bharadwaj also shared old videos of Mishra claiming that he will ‘never join the BJP.’

Bharadwaj did not stop here. He also shared a clip of Mishra’s famous speech in the Delhi Assembly, where he was seen launching brutal attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his alleged involvement in the snooping row.
#KapilMishra pic.twitter.com/cYXUZC4uYS

Kapil Mishra had taken to his social media page on Friday to announce that he was formally joining the BJP on Saturday. After formally joining the BJP, Kapil Mishra wrote on Twitter, “I am now a Proud BJP member. Follower of @narendramodi.”
Mishra had won an AAP ticket from Delhi’s Karawal Nagar assembly seat in 2015. Although his has fallen vacant, the Election Commission is unlikely to hold elections since the next assembly polls in Delhi is scheduled in less than six months’ time.
