JNU students Union leader, Kanhaiya Kumar, was on Sunday shown black flags at function in his home state.
A man, who allegedly showed black flags was thrashed inside the function venue. The video of the man being mercilessly thrashed has gone viral on social media platform.

The two persons, according to PTI, belonged to a little-know outfit ‘Youth Swaraj.’ According to reports they also chanted ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ slogans as Kanhaiya addressed the function organised in S K Memorial hall organised by AISF and AIYF.
Kanhaiya’s supporters thrashed the two persons in the hall. Later the police took the duo into custody.
“Police have detained two persons in this regard,” Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj told PTI.
The two detainees have been identified as Nitish Kumar, a resident of Sitamarhi district, and Manikant Mani, a resident of Samastipur district, the police said, adding that the two youths are said to be the members of RSS.
Kanhaiya is currently on a two-day trip to his home state, where he was accorded hero’s welcome on Saturday. He met both the chief minister, Nitish Kumar, and the RJD chief, Lalu Prasad Yadav.
This is his first trip home after being released from the jail, where he was arrested on charges of sedition.
