Jungle Raj in BJP-ruled Haryana, Muslim youths forced to eat cow dung on suspicion of being beef-smugglers

In a shocking incident of jungle raj, which will indict Manohar Lal Khattar government, militants posing as gau rakshaks recently forced two Muslims to eat a concoction of cow dung, cow urine, milk, curd and ghee.

A video of two Muslims, Rizwan and Mukhtar, were mercilessly thrashed before being made to eat “panchgavya” (cow dung concoction). The 57-seconds video shows the victims sitting on a highway and eating cowdung. Their swollen faces are signs of merciless thrashing by Hindutva goons.

According to an Indian Express report, Dharmendra Yadav, president of the Gurgaon Gau Rakshak Dal, said his ‘goons’, acting on a tip-off, intercepted a vehicle transporting “700 kg of beef from Mewat to Delhi” on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway.

“We had to chase the car for 7 km before we finally managed to stop them near the Badarpur border,” Yadav said. He has no idea who shot the video.

“When we caught them, they had 700 kg of beef in their car. We made them eat the panchgavya to teach them a lesson, and also to purify them,” Yadav said.

The militants can also be heard shouting “hurry up” and “finish the gobar quickly.” In terms of assistance the right-wing thugs only offer more water. They can also be heard prompting them to say “Gau Mata Ki Jai” and “Jai Shri Ram”, both of which the duo say as they struggle to swallow the mixture.

Faridabad police PRO Sube Singh said, “Police have no information about any video of persons being forced to eat cow dung. We do not know where this happened, who are involved. This did not happen in police presence… If this video is genuine, this calls for a case.”

Sube Singh said: “It was on June 10 that Gau Raksha Dal members caught two persons, Rizwan and Mukhtiar, with 300 kg beef being carried in an Accent car bearing a Delhi registration number in the area under Sector 37 police station, Faridabad. The vehicle was coming from Ballabhgarh and going towards Delhi.”

Questions may be asked on the cops’ biases because, while they were swift in arresting the victims, the perpetrators of the crime were flaunting their acts before the media.

The safety of minority under the BJP government in Haryana has become a big concern with attacks against them becoming regular phenomenan. In most cases, the victims allege that the police’s role has been questionable.

Last year Muslims from Atali village in Ballabhgarh had their houses burnt and property destroyed by right-wing Hindutva workers after they began construction of a mosque in the village with the High Court’s order.

They alleged that the police remained mute spectators as Muslims were forced to spent weeks away from their properties in side makeshift camp of a police station in Ballabhgarh.

  1. The state now is gearing for crucial Assembly election early next year, the stoking of communal fires threatens to polarise lakhs of citizens across the state has begun. A sting operation revealed that leaders from different religious organizations willing to orchestrate communal violence for a price anywhere between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 10 lakh. The violence that is perpetrated across communal lines where the parties feel solidarity for their respective groups and victims are chosen based upon group membership.

The term includes conflicts, riots, disrupting screening of religious films and other forms of violence between communities of different religious faith or ethnic origins. Vandalism can be purchased. Cultural nationalism can go on sale. It is all acceptable in the ‘business’ of outrage. ‘Contract rioting’- thugs being handed out contracts or money to create communal chaos. The sting operation exposed the reality.

  2. I feel shame for my country, When we are largest exporter of the beef in the world why we are doing this for people of our country. First stop the exports.

    • please understand others feeling as well…understanding each other is the best policy to live together as one country..beef is the best meat for non-hindu and some hindu as well, we must respect their food habit

  3. People who does not respect law and peoples feelings will get a strong reply. In haryana beef is banned and cow killing is punishable then why they do that.

  4. This kind of vigilante practice of law at any level not be tolerated by any political party anywhere in the biggest democracy or drop biggest democracy. Senseless laws discriminate religious or cultural minority’s.
