Journalists harassed as right-wing group posts phone numbers of Rajdeep Sardesai, Anjana Om Kashyap on Facebook

Senior journalist, Rajdeep Sardesai, on Sunday complained of harassment by “VHP/Hindu Sena ” after his mobile number was posted on a Facebook page owned by some ‘Chandan Pratihast.’

Sardesai took to twitter to express his disgust on the breach of his privacy and the subsequent harassment.

He tweeted, “To my friends in VHP/Hindu Sena who have put my phone number on Facebook and called me every minute since morning, how abt some privacy? We all want Justice for Dr Narang but sorry, I can’t see it through a religious prism like some of you so fervently desire. Apologies.

Along with Sardesai, Parihast also posted the mobile number of Aaj Tak journalist and anchor, Aanjana Om Kashyap.

Anjana has not made any comments as yet.

Pratihast in his Facebook post had written, “I’m posting the phone numbers of India Today and Aaj Tak journalists, Rajdeep Sardesai and Anjana Om Kashyap. Please ask them why they have not reached the house of Dr Narang (murdered Delhi dentist) even though it’s only few kms away from their office….If anyone has (NDTV India’s) Ravish Kumar’s number, then please provide. He needs to be taken to task.”

Partihast’s Facebook page claims he’s from Kota in Rajasthan and he’s the president of the Aam Aadmi Party’s student wing CYSS.
But, the CYSS said that they had no unit in Kota or anywhere in Rajasthan and the person is a Sangh member masquerading as AAP supporter.
