JNU controversy: Gautam Gambhir asks politicians to grow up

Former India batsman Gautam Gambhir has criticised the politicians for the controversy surrounding Jawaharlal Nehru University students.

He tweeted, “Shocking videos frm JNU & Jadhavpur Uni. Grow up politicians. Dnt politicise this, get united for Mother India.

“Don’t compromise ur countries interest to get back into power. (sic)”

On Tuesday, Jadavpur University students were seen as chanting pro-Azaadi slogans, whose video had gone viral.

Home Minister, Rajnath Singh, has sought report from the West Bengal government on this development.

Meanwhile, last night www.jantakareporter.com reported how the security agencies had told the MHA that the arrested JNU students’ union leader Kanhaiya Kumar had not raised anti-India slogans and Delhi Police’s action was an act of ‘over enthusaism.’
