Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday night launched another attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking him not to go into hiding and open the doors of parliament so that he could be grilled on alleged Rafale scam.
He said, “The truth does not go away because you hide from it. Modi ji, stop hiding and open the Parliament so the truth of what you did on Rafale can be heard by the nation.”
His tweet was in reference to Modi government’s decision to delay the winter session of the Parliament this year allegedly due to his fear of being grilled on Rafale deal.
Allegations of a huge scam worth tens of thousands of crores of rupees had surfaced after Janta Ka Reporter exclusively published two investigative reports highlighting several questions raising suspicions on the dubious Rafale deal by PM Modi.
Rahul, who had asked pointed questions few days ago while sharing Janta Ka Reporter’s story, is in no mood to let the issue die. News channels have either played down its importance or refused to debate the issue bringing Modi into the dock for the fear of reprisal.
Hours after Janta Ka Reporter had carried the first part of the expose, Congress had held an emergency press conference, but channels had blacked out its media interaction on Rafale.
