‘If office bearers have to face, we will have to defend them,’ Jaitley is heard saying on ‘DDCA scam’

In few hours from now, the former India cricketer and the BJP MP, Kirti Azad, will address a news conference, which claims to reveal the real truth behind the DDCA cricket scam.

Billed as Operation DDCA, Azad is making this expose in collaboration with WikiLeaks4India, an organisation formed by former TV journalists.

Speaking to jantakareporter.com, Wikileaks4India had said that after this expose, ‘no one will have courage to describe allegations of corruptions into the DDCA baseless.’

Hours before their much publicised press conference, they have released another video promo, which also includes the voice of Union Home Minister, Arun Jaitley. In the video, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is heard saying, “if office bearers have to face, we will have to defend them.”

Jaitley’s remarks come after someone is heard saying, “Believe me, a case will be lodged.”

This revelation comes after reports emerged that Azad was pressurised by the BJP leadership to not go ahead with the expose against a senior party leader.

However, Azad on Sunday announced he was going ahead with his press conference;

Earlier today, Jaitley had told Indian Express that he had nothing to do with the alleged frauds committed as those irregularities took place his tenure. This, according to critics, smacks of lie, as the corruption charges are in relation to the period when he headed the Delhi cricket body.
