J-K government blocks mobile internet over beef-row in valley

The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday blocked mobile internet services due to the fear of misuse to spread rumours on social media in the wake of beef controversy in the valley.

Earlier on Thursday, independent MLA Engineer Rashid was thrashed by BJP MLAs inside the J & K assembly between the session .

Rashid said, “I did not indulge in any illegal act by hosting a beef party at my official residence.”
