A video of an Irish woman launching a racist tirade at an Air India crew has gone viral on social media platforms. In the video, the woman, who described herself an international human rights lawyer, is seen yelling at and abusing a crew member of Air India.
She is heard demanding a glass of wine while shouting, “I am a human rights lawyer.” The video was also shared by news agency ANI. The woman, visibly drunk is seen shouting, “I am a human rights lawyer…an international criminal lawyer…You think I’m scared.”
A man is then heard admonishing her with words like “Calm down, no touching.” But this doesn’t have any effect on the drunk woman as she continued with her racist rant.
She’s heard shouting with animated body language. “You are the captain, aren’t you? You treat business class passengers like this? I work for all you f**king people… The f***ing Rohingyas, the f***ing people of all Asia, for you, an international criminal lawyer. Don’t get any money for it by the way. But you won’t give me a glass of wine, is that correct? “she screams and claps. “If I say boycott Air India, done!”

Reactions on social media have been scathing with some calling it ‘Irish dirt at best.’ Another user asked, “Why Air India Staff Listen to abuses from this beggar Irish or English Lady? Just Handcuff her & tie to seat as per International aviation rules.” “Should be booked for irrational behaviour and all airline’s should ban her for flying,” commented another user.
Some reports suggested that the woman was arrested after the flight landed at the London airport.
