India will be part of anti-IS operations under UN flag: Parrikar

India will participate in operations against the Islamic State only if this is under the UN flag, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said on Wednesday.

“It is India’s policy… If there is a UN resolution, India will participate in operations under the UN flag,” Parrikar told reporters in New Delhi after laying a wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate to commemorate Vijay Diwas.
