Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday once again launched scathing attack against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi accusing him of insulting every Bihari with his DNA jibe.
Nitish maintained that by questioning his DNA, the PM had cast aspersion on the DNA of every Bihari.
He said, “Humara DNA wahi hai jo Bihar ke logon ka DNA hai, Humara DNA alag nhi hai. All I said was the Narendra Modi’s attack on our DNA was not befitting the post of a PM. Please take back your words. Mere DNA mein Swatantra Sangraam ke mulya hain. (My DNA has the values of Independence struggle.)”
He said there was no need for NDA leaders to react because his letter was meant for the PM.
He said, “I wrote to PM not the NDA. What NDA leaders say don’t really affect me. To NDA, I never said anything so I don’t know what they are saying. At one time they considered me PM material because I was with them. Today, Ive suddently become a useless person because I am not with them.”
Prime Minister Modi, while addressing a rally in Muzaffarpur last month had questioned Kumar’s DNA. His attack incidentally had come hours after both Modi and Kumar had shared stage in Patna.
The Bihar CM’s first ever twitter Q&A on Wednesday too was dominated by questions on his open letter that he wrote to the PM.
