Google has suffered a rare outage globally with users unable to access gmail, YouTube and other Google-owned services on Monday evening (IST).
Users have taken to social media to share their difficulties in accessing Gmail, Google Drive, the Android Play Store, Maps, and other key services.
A statement by Google said that the company was aware of a problem with Gmail and other services.
Google users took to social media share their experience with some detecting a tinge of humor as well.

However, YouTube was restored within few minutes of the outage in India. Google’s search engine, however, remained unaffected by the outage that adversely impacted other services.
