According to Times Now, a woman was allegedly gang-raped in a moving vehicle in Noida’s Sector 39 by three men and left near New Delhi’s Akshardham temple.
The woman subsequently contacted the Delhi police after which she was brought to Noida and an FIR has been lodged at the Sector 39 police station.
As reported by DNA, the woman was forcibly pulled into a Scorpio car near the Golf Course metro station and raped in the moving car.
“The occupants of the car asked for directions towards a particular location. As she was responding to their query, the men pulled her into the vehicle and drove away,” an official told PTI.
The police have registered a case and the woman has been sent for a medical examination.
“An FIR has been lodged and the victim has been sent for medical examination,” ASP Abhinandan said.

CNN-News18 further channel reported that the police are relying on CCTV footage for further clues. The Delhi Police could be involved in the case since she was dumped near New Delhi’s Akshardham temple.
The woman earlier said she was taken into a black car but later retracted her statement saying she was not sure if it was black or not.
The incident again has brought the Nirbhaya gang rape episode to the fore in the National Capital Region (NCR) and also raises several questions on the security of women.
