An FIR has been filed against ScoopWhoop co-founder Suparn Pandey after a sexual harassment complaint was filed against him.
The other co-founders of the organisation have also been named in this case.
According to reports, the charges against the co-founder have been made by a senior executive of ScoopWhoop Media Pvt Ltd. The Vasant Kunj Police Station has booked Suparn under Sections, 354 A (sexual harassment), 509 (insulting the modesty of a woman) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.
The woman in question has reportedly told the cops that that between 2015 and 2017, she was repeatedly harassed by Pandey, who sent her obscene videos and made offensive remarks to her besides kissing her on forehead.
In a statement, the website, known for its non-serious news items, said, “we are extending full cooperation to the police to conduct a full and fair investigation into the matter. We are fully prepared to accept the findings of the investigations and dutifully take the necessary action if found guilty.”
This comes just weeks after the founder of TVF, Arunabh Kumar, had faced a series of allegations from former employees of sexual harassment.
Three former women employees have come forward to make sensational charges of molestation against The Viral Fever (TVF) boss Kumar.
