FIR registered against Goa BJP VP for assaulting and injuring daughter-in-law over dowry

Police in Goa have registered an FIR against the state BJP vice president, Anil Hoble, for assaulting and grievously injuring his daughter-in-law, harassing her parents with dowry demands.

News agency ANI reported that women’s police station in the capital Panaji also registered FIR against Anil Hoble’s wife, Sandhya, and son, Milind.

The victim’s mother registered the complaint against Hoble. In her complaint, she said that Hoble’s family had threatened them of attacking with a koita (machete).

The police team rescued the victim and two underage children from her in-laws house at Merces on Wednesday, reported website Neutral View.
