Just when everyone felt that Hardik Patel’s support to Congress was a done deal, the popular Patel leader has posted a shocker for Rahul Gandhi.
Ahead of the Congress’s vice president’s crucial Gujarat visit, Patel took to Twitter to issue an ultimatum. He said that the Congress ought to have made its stand on the Patidars’ demand clear by 3 November failing which he will face the face the same fate as Amit Shah did in Surat.
Hardik wrote, “If the Congress does not clear its stand on how it will provide constitutional reservation to Patidars by 3 November, it will face the same fate as Amit Shah did during his rally in Surat.”

Hardik had reportedly held talks with the Congress leaders recently with some even suggesting that he had met Rahul. But Hardik had later denied those reports. He’s, however, made it clear that Patidar must not vote for the BJP in the December elections even if the party fielded his father as its candidate.
There have been speculations that Hardil would share stage with Rahul for the latter’s rally in Surat on 3 November.
This came on the day the veteran Congress leader Ahmed Patel threatened to file a defamation case against Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani for dangerously trying to polarise the elections with stunning allegations.
