Dramatic visuals of army firing in Haryana’s Jhajjar has emerged, where a platoon of men in uniform can be seen firing at once.
Although, their targets can’e be seen in the frame, it was reported that as many as 10 people died in Jhajjar alone in the last two days.
Among the dead are five Jat protesters and fine non-Jat agitators.
Correspondents say that even after the state government promised to bring a Bill on OBC quota for Jats in the coming assembly session, the protesters have not shown any sings of calling off their agitation.
In the last two days, violent protesters have burnt and damaged Jurassic Park (water park) on Delhi-Chandigarh highway, iconic Sukhdev Dhaba of Murthal and popular spot in Haveli.
One local in Jhajjar said that tonight was going to be very crucial as they residents feared largescale violence.
He said, “It’s gone well beyond quota issue now. It’s free for all. One groups attacks and then the other retaliates.”
