Early exit polls have indicated huge victory for the BJP in Assam, while giving win for the ruling Trinamool in Bengal.
According to ABP, Mamata Banerjee is expected to win 178 seats, while Congress-Left alliance has been given 110 seats. BJP is likely to get 1 seat.
As for Assam, the ABP Exit Poll said that the BJP and alliance may win 81 seats, while the Congress has been given just 33 seats. AUDF, according to survey, will win 10 seats.
Other exit polls too appear to have given clean sweep for Mamata in West Bengal and first BJP government in Assam.
According to India Today survey, TMC is likely to secure 51% vote share. If indeed the predictions of exit polls hold true, Mamata’s victory will be unprecedented.
