Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders register decisive wins in New Hampshire

Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Bernie Sanders both registered impressive victories in New Hampshire primaries.

After a close finish for Sanders and loss in Iowa for Trump, today’s decisive victories have clearly shaken up the elections for American presidential nominees.

Bernie Sanders beat Democratic rival Hillary Clinton by a huge margin. He said that his victory showed people wanted “real change”.

In the Iowa primaries, Ted Cruz had emerged as a surprise winner as he pushed controversial billionaire businessman Trump to second position.

Hillary Clinton, though had won the Democratic primaries in Iowa, the victory margin wouldn’t have left her pleased. She won the primaries by less than one percent margin.

Clinton polled 49.80 percent votes while her rival Bernie Sanders received 49.56 percent of votes.

Both Trump and Sanders are seeking to run the White House by ridding piggyback on the existing discontent in the mainstream politics.
