Dog hanged in Kerala to mark the death anniversary of RSS leader


A dog hanged on Tuesday to the electric post in Kannur in Kerala to mark the first death ceremony of RSS leader.

Last year on 1 September, a 42-year-old RSS leader, E Manoj, was hacked to death in Kannur while he was travelling in his Omni van. A group of assailants had hurled bombs on his car causing him to lose control and hit an electric pole.

The dog was hanged from the same electric pole, which the RSS leader’s car had hit.

In recent days, Kannur has been git by series of clashes involving supporters from the CPIM and the BJP.

The RSS leader E Manoj was the Sharirik Sakshan Pramukh of Kannur district. In 1999, he was accused in a murder attempt on CPI(M) leader P.Jayarajan. The case is being examined by the CBI, which has already questioned Jayarajan in connection with the murder of the RSS leader.
