A Delhi based woman has complained that an Olacabs taxi driver masturbated while ferrying her to her destination.
She posted her ordeal on Facebook and twitter, both of which have gone viral now.
According to her, she had ordered a TaxoforSure cab from Olacabs for a journey from Saket in south Delhi to Faridabad in Haryana on Jul 2.
The car was being driven someone known as Devinder Kumar.
In her Facebook post, the girl wrote that she was about to make a phone call, when she noticed that Kumar was masturbating while driving the car.
She wrote, ” He had a smile on his face that will haunt me for nights to come. A #PSYCHOTIC man with a severe chemical imbalance for a driver is nothing but dangerous.”
Her post further read, ” Since it was late, the only thing I could do was open my window as I counted the seconds to reach home. Once I reached home, I confronted him and obviously he denied everything. Called Ola, they directed me to TaxiforSure. Called TFS whose barely trained call centre technicians gave me the standard reply ‘madam we will take action against the driver in 24 hours.”
Olacabs had acquired its Bangalore-based rival TaxiForSure in February this year before integrating its service into Ola’s mobile app last month.
TaxiFor Sure’s CEO Arvind Singhal said he regretted the “experience the passenger had” adding that the the driver had now been “blacklisted” before being fired.
