The sacked AAP minister, Sandeep Kumar, surrendered before the Deputy Commissioner of Police office in Rohini on Saturday evening, reported PTI.
This was after the cops booked him for rape in the wake of the woman seen in the sex CD filing a police complaint against him.
According to ABP News, the woman filed the complaint at Sultanpuri police station in Delhi.
The woman reportedly stated that the video was a year old adding that the former minister had promised her a job.
She reportedly said, “The video is a year old.I met Sandeep Kumar to get a ration card made, he also promised me a job. I was drugged & sexually exploited.”
Reacting to the new development, Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal said the woman’s allegations were very serious.
He tweeted, “If woman’s allegations are correct, this is v serious. Strongest exemplary punishment shud be given to Sandeep.”

Aam Aadmi Party had suspended Kumar from party’s primary membership on Saturday.
“Party is taking action. Whatever Sandeep Kumar has done is wrong. He has been suspended from the primary membership.
The matter has been sent to the disciplinary committee and whatever recommendations will come from it, the party will follow it. But, the PAC has suspended him from primary membership after discussing the issue this morning,” Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said.
Political Affairs Committee or PAC is the highest decision making body of the party.
This came after Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal sacked Kumar “with immediate effect after receiving an objectionable CD.
Announcing the decision, Kejriwal tweeted, “Recd “objectionable” CD of minister Sandeep Kr. AAP stands for propriety in public life. That can’t be compromised. Removing him from Cabinet wid immediate effect.”
Kejriwal had later released a video message saying that Kumar “betrayed” the core values on which AAP will never compromise and hit out at rival parties for their “indifference” in taking action in cases of wrongdoings and corruption.
In a video message, Kejriwal had asserted that he will prefer to die than stray from AAP’s principles, adding the same rule will apply to himself and all other senior leaders.
“Sandeep Kumar betrayed the party, he betrayed the AAP movement and the trust people across the country have reposed on AAP. We will never ever compromise on our core values. We will prefer to die than tolerate wrongdoings,” he said.
