Her mother found the little girl bleeding profusely when she returned home. The girl was taken a hospital, where the doctors confirmed rape.
When the victim returned home, her mother was left shocked when she found her bleeding. She immediately took her to a nearby hospital, where doctors confirmed rape. Police arrested the electrician on Thursday.
Reacting to the news, Delhi Commission for Women chief, Swati Maliwal, said that the child’s perpetrator must face death sentence within six months. She wrote, “6 year old girl raped in a school in Delhi. Strongest action should be taken against culprit who should be hanged within 6 months under the new law. DCW is issuing notice to Delhi Police and school authority – to ascertain safety measures implemented in the school.”

In January this year, an eight-year-old girl was drugged, gang-raped and murdered inside a temple in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district. This led to huge international outcry, forcing the government to enact a new law that now awards the death sentence for those convicted of raping girls under the age of 12.
