It seems anything our entertainment celebrities post on social media platforms have to be criticised a section of users.
We saw how Priyanka Chopra was slammed by the supporters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not dressing appropriately and bad posture when she posted her photo with him from Germany.
On Wednesday Dangal star, Fatima Sana Shaikh faced roasting on Instagram when she posted a photo in a bikini from Malta beach.
Now, it’s the turn of Chennai Express girl, Deepika Padukone, who’s being shamed for her photo from her magazine cover shoot.
Deepika posted a photo in a white two-piece dress on Instagram on Wednesday. The photo prompted many to shame her with users posting nasty comments.
One user wrote, “Ye app kya dikhana cha rahi Ho aise clothes me (What are you trying to show in such clothes?)”
Another user wrote threatening to unfollow her, “Gotta unfollow yuh …… shameless (sic)”
One more user said, “Shame on you Deepika.”
Far from being deterred by uncharitable comments, Deepika posted another photo from the same shoot but with a different angle.
This was precisely what Priyanka had done in the face of incessant trolling for wearing less clothes during her meeting Modi. She had posted another photo, where both she and her mother had worn even shorter skirts.
She had very cheekily captioned her photo as “Legs for days.”
