A complaint has been filed against ACB Delhi Chief MK Meena for his alleged involvement in a “20 lakh curtain purchase scam”.
Delhi government sources confirmed to Janta Ka Reporter that a retired inspector of Delhi Police filed the complaint on ‘corruption’ charges.
In this two page complaint, the complainant claims that the ‘said IPS officer committed gross misconduct’ between May 2005 and July 2005. Meena allegedly ‘conspired and colluded’ with private firms while procuring curtains and curtain rods worth Rs 20 Lakh. (See the copies of the complaint below)
The complaint addressed to the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, demands an FIR to be filed against the newly appointed ACB chief.
The complainant argues that Meena’s action was beyond his competence and he had not obtained prior approval from the ‘competent authority.’
Meena has recently been appointed as the ACB chief amidst huge controversy with the Delhi government strongly opposing his appointment to this post.
