Days after Sunil Grover walked out of Kapil Sharma Show after being allegedly abused and thrashed during a return flight from Australia, the former has reportedly entered negotiations with Colors TV for a new show.
According to reports, Grover, famous for his character Dr Mashoor Gulati, had snubbed Kapil Sharma after he tweeted his apology for violent behaviour in the flight.
Website DNA quoted a source, “Kapil and Colors don’t get along and their public fight was not just ugly but for everyone to see. Colors hasn’t forgiven Kapil yet and the reasons remained the same – his regular tantrums and attitude. Today, the same behavioural traits have cost him a few friends and soon, he will land up with no work if this continues. Colors has planned to start a comedy show of its own with Sunil Grover and they are also in talks with Ali Asgar, who along with Sunil has boycotted The Kapil Sharma Show.”
Sharma had then faced bigger revolt as two other artists, Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asghar, too had joined Grover forcing the host to call new names to join him when Naam Shabana crew visited the show.
Not so long ago, Colors had reportedly barred Diljit Dosanjh from going to Kapil Sharma Show to promote his new release Phillauri opposite Anushka Sharma.
Reports suggest that Colors’ next project may involve both Grover and Asghar.
Meanwhile, Grover has announced his new gig with Kiku Sharda following his fall out with Kapil Sharma.
Grover took to Facebook to share the poster of his upcoming gig scheduled to happen in Delhi on April 1.
“Delhi see you on the 1st April. Yo!,” he shared the poster of the show, which features him dressed as his popular character of Dr Mashoor Gulati from “The Kapil Sharma Show”.
Following an in-flight tussle between him and Kapil, Grover posted a note on social media in which he asked the latter to “start respecting human beings also apart from animals.”
Grover, who plays the popular characters of Dr Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi on Kapil’s show, further wrote, “Thanks for making me realise it was your show and you have power to throw out anybody, anytime.
“You are the wittiest, and the best in your field. But don’t act like a ‘God’. Take good care of yourself. Wish you lot more success and fame.”
Kapil had dismissed their feud as “an argument” in a Facebook post but Grover, has indicated that all is not well between them.
He also took to Twitter to apologise to Grover, saying, “Sorry if I hurt you unintentionally. You know very well how much I love you. I am also upset. Love and regards.
