In a chilling reminder to the last year’s murder of a Class 2 student Pradyuman Thakur at Gurugram’s Ryan International School, a Class 9 student of Shree Bharati Vidyalaya has been found dead with stab wounds at the school’s washroom in Gujarat’s Vadodara.
Media reports said that sharp-edged weapon injuries were found on body of the boy. Police have reportedly found a blood-soaked knife from next to the body of the 14-year-old student.
Reports in local Gujarati media said that the deceased boy had a fight with a Class 10 student before his body was discovered from the school’s toilet. The body has been taken for postmortem examination.
Last year in September, a Class 2 student of Ryan International School in Gurugram was found murdered inside the school’s toilet with the child’s throat slit. The school, which discovered the baby’s body on Friday morning, also found a knife next to the body.
The cops had first arrested a school bus conductor Ashok Kumar but later the CBI had arrested a class 11 student of the same school while exonerating the bus conductor, who was arrested suspected to be the man behind Pradyuman Thakur’s murder.
The teen is awaiting trial after Juvenile Justice Board decided that he would be treated as an adult.
