The central government on Friday returned 14 bills sent by Arvind Kejriwal government arguing that right procedures were not followed.

The Bills returned included the crucial Lokpal Bill, CrPC Amendment Bill, Salary Amendment Bill and the Delhi School Education (Amendment) Bill.

Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal reacted angrily alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had decided not to let Delhi government work.

He said, “We’ve completed the procedure 10 times. They don’t have the intention to pass the bill. Hence new obstruction every time. Modi ji’s new slogan is, ‘Neither will I work nor will let other work.”

The development comes on the day Kejriwal demanded holding of British-style referendum for the full statehood of Delhi.

He taunted the Ministry of Home Affairs accusing it of behaving like a ‘headmaster.’
