After protesting against south Indian film Mersal and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, the BJP appears to have shifted its focus against Ram Gopal Varma’s next release, God, Sex and Truth.

The film has, among others, porn star Mia Malkova in lead role.

BJP’s women’s wing demanded a ban on the film claiming that it was ‘dirty.’ A BJP state executive member, Kari Nagalakshmi, has even filed a police complaint in the Suryaraopet police station in Vijayawada against Varma. “What was the message Varma would be giving to the youth in India with his dirty film?” Deccan Chronicle quoted her as saying.

Nagalakshmi also claimed that “the film would affect the marriage system of India, and would damage the careers of youngsters”, the Deccan Chronicle report said.

Varma had last released the teaser of his film on Twitter promising to release the full film online on 26 January. The teaser of the film has already been viewed close to 40 lakh on YouTube. Varma had earlier described his film with Malkova ‘a revolutionary sexual philosophy as professed by @MiaMalkova and encapsulated by me ..it’s about telling the Truth behind Sex as intended By God.’

Malkova, for her part had tweeted informing that she will be the second adult star ‘after Sunny Leone to be shot by an Indian feature film make.’
