Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari has lashed out at the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for insensitivity alleging that the latter was busy attending ‘Badhai Timarpur’ celebrations on the day 43 people were killed in one of the worst fire tragedy.
Taking to Twitter Tiwari, who is also an MP from Delhi, wrote, “On one hand the entire Delhi is mourning because of 43 families have lost their loved ones and many are injured. At the same time, Delhi Chief Minister is attending ‘Badhai Timarpur.’ How can Kejriwal ji be so insensitive?”

At least 43 people, mostly labourers, were killed after a fire broke out at a luggage factory in Anaj Mandi on Rani Jhansi Road on early Sunday morning. Police have arrested the owner of the factory, Rehan, and his manager, Furqan.
Meanwhile, the AAP and the BJP have traded charges blaming each other for the Sunday’s devastating fire. While the AAP said that the factory fell under the purview of the BJP-run MCD, the saffron party slammed the Kejriwal government alleging that the pollution control board, fire department and labour ministries were under the direct control of the AAP administration.
Delhi Congress President Subhash Chopra blamed both the BJP and the AAP for the Sunday’s fire. He was quoted as saying, “The Kejriwal government is responsible for this. The MCD comes under the BJP, so they are also equally responsible.”
