Video of BJP leader bitterly crying for not being named for the 2018 Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections goes viral


The BJP has released its second list for the 2018 Karnataka assembly elections in which names of 82 candidates were announced. With this, the party has declared a total of 154 candidates for the 12 May assembly elections in the state.

On not finding his name in the list, Ex-MLC Shashil G Nomoshi started crying in front of media. BJP has given the Gulbarga ticket to CB Patil.

In BJP’s first list, the names of the Chief Ministerial candidate BS Yeddyurappa and other senior leaders Jagdish Shettar and KS Eishwarappa were included.

BJP and Congress are contesting a tough fight for the assembly elections in the state this time. Earlier, Congress had released a list of 218 candidates.

Voting will be held on 12 May and the results will be on 15 May for the 224 seats in the state. Presently, there is Congress government in Karnataka under CM Siddaramaiah. Siddaramaiah has been the chief minister since 2013, under his leadership the Congress had won 122 seats defeating BJP last time.
