On the day Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal praised the good governance of Bihar under Nitish Kumar, BJP dug out old tweets old tweets of him to launch attack against him.
Leading the tirade was BJP’s spokesperson, Sambit Patra, who told reporters in Delhi that the alliance between Bihar chief minister, Nitish Kumar and Arvind Kejriwal was ‘was solely aimed at derailing the agenda of development.’
Patra quoted Mr Kejriwal’s tweet of October, 2013, where the Delhi Chief Minister had termed Lalu Prasad Yadav’s imprisonment and Rs. 25 lakh fine in a fodder scam case as a “sweet deal”.
Nitish with Lalu and Congress party have formed a grand alliance for the coming assembly elections against the BJP-led NDA.
Patra also highlighted an old Delhi’s deputy chief minister, Manish Sisodia, who had reportedly talked about hearing the stories of “goondaism” of Nitish and Lalu during his Bihar visit.
Kejriwal is currently visiting Bihar, where he shared the stage with Nitish before praising his good governance and attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not allowing his Delhi government to function.
