Before preaching about Yoga, Amit Shah should control his own body: Nitish Kumar


Citing the politicization of National Yoga Day, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made a statement targeting BJP President Amit Shah. The JDU chief asked Amit Shah to “look at his own body and perform yoga at home before preaching the world about it.”

According to reports, BJP President Amit Shah will be on a two-day tour to poll-bound Bihar. Amit Shah will also be part of the yoga event planned in Patna on June 21 on the eve of the International Yoga Day.

The BJP President will hold a meeting with the state party leaders to discuss the strategies of the NDA for the Assembly election in which it wil be facing the RJD-JD(U) alliance headed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad.

Bihar BJP has been asked by the party leadership to hold yoga-related events across the state on June 21.

The UN had declared June 21 as the International Yoga Day following a proposal by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his address to the UN General Assembly.
