Auto, bike and bus, how Delhi ministers will travel to office on Odd-Even days


Delhi government’s new initiative to curb air pollution in the capital is kicking in from tomorrow. Billed as Odd-Even Formula, the cars with odd and even registration numbers will be allowed on Delhi roads every alternate days starting 1 January for 15 days.

Although the government has made exemptions for central government ministers and ministers from other states, its own ministers including the CM Arvind Kejriwal have excluded themselves from the benefits.

They have promised to follow the guidelines enforced for ordinary commuters.

Here’s a guide to how these ministers will travel on the first day of the launch of Odd-Even formula.

Arvind Kejriwal: He will travel in his odd number car and leave for office at around 10 AM.

Manish Sisodia: He will come in his odd number car. He will leave around 9.30 AM for secretariat.

Satyendar Jain: He will car pool with Kejriwal

Gopal Rai: He has an even number car. He too will car pool with the chief minister.

Kapil Mishra: He will start from Yamuna Vihar residence on Bike for the secretariat.

Imran Hussain: He will come in an auto on odd numbered days. He has an even number car. He will start at around 11 AM from his Ballimaran Office.

Sandeep Kumar: He will commute by bus (ISBT to Secretariat). He will leave his residence 8, Rajniwas Road residence for recretariat.
