According to a local channel, DY-365, the teacher in question was identified as Faizuddin Laskar and he hailed from Katlicherra town in Hailakandi district of Assam. Laskar reportedly posted the obscene photos online inviting considerable criticism from social media users. But, the state government has yet to arrest him, who teaches at Model High School in Katllicherra.
According to the channel, Laskar was a serial sex predator as he was once nearly lynched for molesting a woman.
After Laskar posted the photos online, one of the girl’s parents contacted police to file a complaint against him. The cops questioned him but did not arrest him, triggering social media outrage.
One parent said, “This man has insulted the entire women fraternity. We will launch an agitation if we the cops don’t arrest him immediately.”
