Apple to launch new iPhone 6S with 3D Force Touch Display

Apple has come up with iPhone 6S, which will have 3D Force Touch display. The new model is expected to be launched on September 9 in San Francisco.

According to website 9to5Mac, the new handset is using a next-generation version of Force Touch that recognizes three dimensions of input, not just the existing two.

3D Touch Display will also respond to multiple levels of pressures, tap, press, and a deeper press (a deeper press will trigger different functions) and allow app makers variety of functionalities.

Apple is known for not revealing anything ahead of the new product launch, but the 9to5Mac report says that the iPad Pro will also get the new 3D Touch Display and be announced at the event.

Not too long ago, Huawei too had launched its Mate S smartphone with the same Force Touch Display. At its news conference, they were able to measure the weight of an orange using the smartphone.

According to Bloomberg, next-gen Force Touch interface comes up with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screen sizes, quite similar to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
