Apple CEO, Tim Cook, starts India visit from a trip to Siddhivinayak Temple


Apple CEO Tim Cook has started his India trip by visiting the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai.

Cook, as reported by Indian Express, was accompanies by Apple India head Sanjay Kaul.

Among other things, Cook also chatted with Anant Ambani, the son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani.

Cook’s Wednesday’s engagements may include meeting Tata Group Chairman Cyrus Mistry and others during the day.

The Apple CEO’s next stop is likely to be Hyderabad before he travels to Bengaluru and Delhi later this week.

According to an NDTV report, Cook is also scheduled to meet Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Top government sources confirmed that a new digital maps centre was being launched by Apple in the Telangana capital. This will be the mega-brand’s first technology centre outside the US.
