Amul criticised for its new digital ad

A new Amul digital advertisement has drawn flaks after it showed how a girl child changed her playing habits from barbie to bat-ball for her kid brother.

daCunha communications, which makes  outdoor ads for Amul on social media, is now facing criticism as film is considered very ‘sexist and regressive.’

Amul 5th digital film Har Ghar Amul Ghar, went live on 19th September.

Amul has denied allegations of promoting gender biases in its ads.

A little girl, in this ad is decorating her newborn brother room to greet him in her ways. Her father enters the room and replaces teddy bear with a spiderman toy saying “isse thode na khelega  tumhara bhai.”
