Within a span of six months, Baba Ramdev, the founder of Patanjali products, has had to issue clarifications on his health.
On Tuesday, Ramdev took to Twitter to announce he was ‘safe and healthy’ adding that people must not ‘believe on any rumours.’
His tweet said, “Took yog shivir of thousands of yogis in Haridwar today. I am safe and healthy. Don’t believe on any rumours.”

This was after several WhatsApp messages said that Ramdev had met with a serious accident. Incidentally, one of the photos used in the message was the same that had gone viral in December.
In December last year, he had rubbished rumours on social media that he suffered a heart attack. Ramdev had said that ‘irresponsible’ statements on his health were wrong and he will live long by ‘virtue of yoga.’
