– We’ve taken into account expectations & aspirations of Delhi people while preparing this Budget, this is a budget for “aam aadmi”
– We want to develop Delhi as a world class skill centre through way of this budget
– People of Delhi paid tax worth of 1,30,000 crores to Centre but got back only 325 crores
– Delhi govt will focus on price control, Delhi will be first corruption-free state in India
– The Delhi Government Budget of this year is provisioned to be around Rs 41129 crores
– When Centre took control of Delhi, the state incurred losses of Rs 4000 crore every month
– Subsidy for electricity & water Rs 1690 crore
– Centre’s help to Delhi a meager Rs 325 crores
– A “Swaraj Fund” will be set up worth Rs 253 crores
– Contractors will be paid only once the public is satisfied with the work
– Free wifi for all colleges in the 1st phase, budget allocated for the same is Rs 50 crores
– E- District to be implemented, District Magistrate will issue certificate with digital signature.
– Proposed budget for education for 2015-16 stands at Rs 9836 crores
– CCTV cams to be installed in all Govt schools, transparency & accountability to be maintained
– “Pay & Play” scheme would enable people to play at govt run stadiums for a nominal fee
– Budget allocation for health sector stand at Rs 4787 crores
– CCTV cams and marshals to be deployed in DTC buses
– GPS & water sensors installed in water tankers
– Full statehood is not mere dream, we are raising this issue with centre regularly: M Sisodia
