According to reports, a scuffle broke out between the police officials and AAP leaders in Delhi’s Jantar Mantar area today morning during the Arvind Kejriwal-led party’s protest march demanding the resignations of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani and Maharashtra Women and Child Welfare Minister Pankaja Munde.
The protesting members and workers of the party raised slogans and banners demanding the resignation of the BJP leaders in question.
BJP has clearly stated that it won’t demand the resignation of its ministers. Lalit Modi’s revelations have opened a can of worms with the emergence of a letter reportedly carrying Raje’s signature, backing Lalit Modi’s application in the UK.
As far as Irani’s degree issue is concerned, a Delhi court agreed to hear a complaint against her regarding the authenticity of her educational qualifications.
