AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Sunday alleged that he was denied boarding an IndiGo plane to Bhopal because he was late. Taking to Twitter, Singh share a copy of his boarding pass and accused the airline of ill-treating him.
He wrote, “I was going to Bhopal to attend a function organised by bank employees. But, famous for ill-treating customers, I too fell victim to IndiGo’s bad behaviour. I had my boarding pass and my security check was also complete. The gate was open and yet I was not allowed to board. ”
He also tagged Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri to take note of the alleged ill-treatment by IndiGo.
pic.twitter.com/ZOtUoa2hpT

In his subsequent tweet, Singh asked Puri to check the CCTV footage of the departure gate to see how a pregnant woman was making a desperate plea asking the ground staff to allow her to travel with her children. But, according to him, she too was not allowed.

Replying to Singh’s tweet, Puri said that he will look into the matter and revert.
Sanjay ji, we will take this up with the airline and revert.

The airline has not yet responded to Singh’s stunning allegations.
