AAP files complaint, says LG Jung is abusing his powers to help convict OP Chautala


Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday filed a complaint against LG Najeeb jung for misusing his office to provide benefits to a convict- OP Chautala.

The complaint letter is written by AAP leaders, Dillip Pandey and Raghav Chadha.

Aam Aadmi Party tweeted the complaint letter on social media.

AAP  alleged that Jung is defending INLD leader Chautala and misleading the media.

Delhi Home Minister Satyendra Jain has already complained to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal about being pressurised by Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung for granting parole to Indian National Lok Dal leader Om Prakash Chautala, the Aam Aadmi Party said on Friday.

Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung and the Arvind Kejriwal government on Friday fought over the issue of withdrawal of criminal cases against Aam Aadmi Party leaders, including Kejriwal.

The LG office accused the AAP government of “insisting” he withdrew 24 criminal cases pending against AAP leaders, a charge the government rubbished.

The LG office denied the government’s allegation pertaining to former Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala’s parole plea.
