Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari said on Sunday that reported arrest of Aam Aadmi Party’s youth leader Najeeb and his accomplices over alleged robbery proves that AAP has become an abode of anti-social elements.

Tiwari, according to PTI, said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal owed an explanation to the people of Delhi as to what action he is taking against Najeeb and several party MLAs accused of serious charges including Sandeep Kumar, Sharad Chauhan, Rajesh Rishi, Somnath Bharti and Amanatullah Khan.

Six youths, including an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Youth Wing leader, were arrested on charge of robbing a businessman of Rs 25 lakh in the national capital.

According to news agency IANS, cops said the accused had been identified as Jitender, Sabab, Najeeb, Nadeem, Naved, and Yusuf, all residents of east Delhi.

“They had on March 12 robbed Rs 25 lakh from a businessman, Vipul Jain, on gun point. Jain, also a resident of Maujpur, and locals tried to chase the robbers. As Nadeem’s bike fell down while fleeing, he was overpowered and handed over to police,” Joint Commissioner of Police Ravindra Yadav was quoted as saying.
