10 Amarnath pilgrims killed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district

As many as 10 Amarnath pilgrims have died after the bus they were travelling in fell in a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district on Sunday.

The cause of the accident is not known yet. However, a rescue operation has started.

Junior Home Minister, Jitendra Singh said, “Extremely saddened by loss of lives of devotees on their way to Darshan of the Holy shrine. Spoken to admn,offering all help to the injured.”

This came on the day another woman succumbed to injuries in the terror attack on Amarnath pilgrims that had killed seven women, mostly from Gujarat last week.
