While campaigning for wife Kirron Kher, Anupam Kher walks out of shop after being asked about failed promises by BJP

A day after Anupam Kher had to cancel his election programmes in Chandigarh as no one turned up to listen to his speech, the veteran actor is dominating social media conversations once again. This time, a video of Kher walking out of a shop after being asked about the failed promises of the BJP has gone viral.

In the video, Kher is seen walking inside a shop with his supporters until the owner of the shop asks, “I want to ask you one thing. What you promised here (in the manifesto), what did you fulfill?” No sooner had the shopkeeper finished his question, Kher turned back and walked out his shop.

His action has evoked considerable reactions on social media.

Meanwhile, Anupam Kher said that he was aware of the conspiracy hatched by the Congress to embarrass him. He wrote, “Yesterday, the opposition planted two people in a shop while I campaigned for Kirron Kher so that they could ask me about the 2014 manifesto of the BJP. I kept walking because I saw a man making the video. Today they released the video. See the action of the man in beard.”

On Monday, Anupam Kher, who’s in Chandigarh to campaign for his wife Kirron Kher, did not attend two scheduled election events after no one turned up at the venue. Later, the veteran actor took to Twitter to confirm the news but said that this was because he had arrived at the venue early.
