When women have point of view, 'they are PMSing,' Kareena Kapoor Khan to counter stereotype in new radio show


We all know Karan Johar has done pretty well even as a radio show host. Soon, he will have competition from his friend and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is all set to make a debut as a radio presenter, also known as RJ in India.

True to herself, Kareena is likely to tackle bold issues plaguing women at large and they are viewed because of the prevalent stereotype in the Indian society. With raging debate on what’s being termed as India’s own MeToo movement, a top celebrity challenging these issues head-on will no doubt chime well millions.
Kareena’s new radio show will go on air on Ishq 104.8 FM and her show will be called What Women Want. In the new promo, Kareena is seen having a go at how women are treated unjustly by men folk. Outlining a few examples of this unequal treatment, Kareena says, “If my co-star wants any changes in a script, he has got a point of view. If I want it, I’m PMSing. If a never ending traffic jam drives me crazy, I’m PMSing. Even if I complain about internet speed, I’m PMSing.”
Speaking about her new radio show, the 38-year-old told Mumbai Mirror, “I couldn’t have asked for a better start on this platform. I am doing my first radio show and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
The Veere Di Wedding actor is married to Saif Ali Khan has a son in Taimur, from him. Taimur will be celebrating his second birthday in December this year.
On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor Khan has just signed Karan Johar’s  Takht starring Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and Janhvi Kapoor among others.
